She's a Transformers OC, right? What series is the character derived from; judging by the organic quality exhibited by her armoured carapace, I would make the estimation that Scaleblade here is of the Beast Wars franchise. What does she transform into, and what would be her alliegence? Apologies for all the inane questions, but I'm an unashamed Transformers nut (if the username wasn't enough of a blatant giveaway to the fact), and I simply adore original fan-made characters. And this one's a beaut! The sensual curves of the physique are alluring, without being needlessly sexualized. There's a good deal of electrified hardware to keep the unwanted attentions of the fanboys at bay, I'm sure! Speaking of which, the varying transparency effects employed of each of the blades is very well implemented. Colour is also of a very accomplished standard, with nice use of shading for body. The dark purples play well with the schematic black, juxtaposed vibrantly by the restrained silver componentry. Very sinsiter looking! Dispite the similarities of the purple hues of the figure and the midnight blue of the background, the image never succumbs to blasé presentation, which is a testament to your remarkable design. Scaleblade is a great looking character, presented with dynamic flare. Well one - I look forward to seeing more great work from your very talented self. Keep it up!

Wow.. that's.. like.. a huge comment. o_x My ego inflated a few head sized right there. ^-^

To answer your questions.. the's primarily from the Beast era, though her form is pre-Beast Wars. She's one of the protoform Experiments (like Rampage/X) with her beast form specifically crafted to transform into a bio-engineered black dragon. There's no specific reason WHY they did, she and X killed them and destroyed the lab before finding out. Her allegiance is neutral at best, but in the Beast Wars she is forced to join the Predacons. And stuff happens. ^-^'

Yea.. I don't have an incredably huge complex history for her. She doesn't need one. She's a born and bred killer. :B But thanks for your interest in her..

You're not alone there - long-suffering chronic insomniac right here! *sigh* And believe me, the pleasure of commenting on such a wonderful piece was all mine. I saw an amusing parody image submitted by the very talented shumworld during my travels and simply had to find out from what influence this character was derived. I wasn't diappointed!
